Insult delay 'Diablo Immortal' in China

There are now rumours of a new dispute over "Diablo Immortal." This is because an Activision Blizzard employee insulted the Chinese leader on the social media site Weibo.

After the verified employee's post against President Xi Jinping was made public online, the game's release in China may be pushed back again.

"Diablo Immortal" is out in the world, and players from all over can download and play the massively multiplayer online role-playing game for their own fun and experience (MMORPG).

But the game didn't come out on time in China, and Dexerto said it was because of something that happened with one of their employees.

The game has been out since June 2 in the US and other places around the world, but NetEase hasn't sent it to the Chinese gaming market yet.

The supposed post on Weibo from the verified "Diablo Immortal" account caused a big mess for the game all over the world.

Radio Free Asia in China said that it came from a NetEase/Blizzard worker.
