Sonic Origins developer "very unhappy" with Sega and the final version of the game

Simon Thomley, founder of Headcannon, isn't happy with Sonic Origins.

Simon Thomley, the founder of Headcannon, has spoken out about the final version of Sonic Origins, and he's not happy.

On top of that, players are starting to find some crazy bugs and glitches in the game.

A Twitch streamer found out last night that you can skip all of the "& Knuckles" part of Sonic 3 & Knuckles by starting over and going to Hidden Palace. Eep.

But how did the game come out in this state? We've seen a lot of Sonic re-releases over the years, and most of them have been pretty good.

A series of tweets from Simon "Stealth" Thomley, who started the company that made Sonic Origins, gives us some information.

"I'm not going to lie and say that what we gave Sega was perfect, but what's in Origins is not what we gave them,"

Thomley said in the thread. "Integration brought in some strange bugs that common sense would tell you were our fault, but a lot of them aren't.
