Weekend LA show ends early due to vocal issues

The Weeknd was forced to end his sold-out concert at Los Angeles’ Sophie Stadium after losing his voice – only three songs on the show.

The four-time Grammy winner stopped singing in the middle of his hit song “Can’t Feel My Face” and walked off the stage.

Weekend, Whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, Then went back on stage as another song started and stopped the show, telling fans that he had lost his voice and could not finish the performance.

Disappointed fans filled with applause in the nearly 70,000-seat stadium.

“You’ll get your money back,” he assured the disappointed audience. “But I’ll do a real show for you guys soon.”

It’s not clear what condition the critically acclaimed singer’s vocal problems lie in, but when she spoke to the crowd, her voice sounded hoarse.

According to the singer’s website, The Weeknd is scheduled to perform in Toronto on September 22 and 23.
